tates are still the key actors in the labour migration policy field. Within LAB-MIG-GOV, national approaches to labour migration management are analysed in a multi-level and cross-sectoral governance perspective, which considers both the role of sub-national authorities and the interaction between labour migration policies and other policy fields (welfare, labour, education, etc.). LAB-MIG-GOV focuses more in depth on a sample of EU Member States selected on the basis of their economic and political relevance in the European labour migration scene.
